Happy 49!

Kemp was born at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Brememerton, Washington on a very cold and frosty November 6.  His birth was followed 2 days later by the Jack Kennedy/Richard Nixon election.  I was too young to vote!!  Somehow Kemp survived and thrived, a process that he has repeated in his life.  And he has encouraged the rest of us to do the same.  How blessed we are to have Kemp in our family and we wish him a happy birthday.  We are grateful that Sonja is there to share the day with you.

Thanks, Mom, the family support has been much appreciated. Life can be so good, and this year has been wonderful!

I'm a little slow chiming in, but how can someone I have always thought of as being young be 49? Happy Birthday, a little late. Love the familiar smile.

And I didn't even remember that it was Kemp's birthday. Will do better next year. (You realize that he is in our famiy twice over, don't you?) And, Ann, 49 is young. Age is very relative these days. Happy late birthday, with love.

Happy Birthday Kemp! For some reason I always think it is on the 9th, not the 6th. The important thing about being 49 is that it is still older than me. Hope you had a supper day!

Happy Birthday, Kemp! Hope this birthday was much happier than last! So if this year you are 49, than that means...next year...you'll be FIFTY!!!! Ha!
