One blessing of gray days is good light to photgraph flowers without the sunlight to fade the color. I just cannot get enough of the brillant color of these lupines. Everyday brings new cones opening with yet another stunning color combination. I will probably never have another garden to match this year's display.

They are prolific and beautiful. I love the way the old bench has weathered, and looks a part of the landscape. Slivers? Can you still sit?
